We offer a range of different appointment locations to suit your needs, whether it be at our clinic, at your home or your child’s school or day care.

Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists (OTs) are health professionals whose core business is enabling function, despite a person’s injury, illness, or other difficulty. OTs work in a variety of settings with a diverse range of clients. OTs use relevant, meaningful activities to assist people to overcome these challenges. At FUNction First, we will endeavour to make your child’s therapy meaningful, relevant and above all fun!
Our Services
Screening Assessment
A screening assessment is a brief overview of your child’s strengths and difficulties. Through this process, we can determine if your child is on track with their development or may need further support in a few areas. A screening assessment usually takes approximately 30 -45 minutes to complete.
Comprehensive Assessment
A comprehensive assessment is a longer, in-depth assessment, designed to fully assess the needs of your child across many developmental areas. This type of assessment usually takes 1.5-2 hours to complete.
Individualised Therapy Services
We offer individual OT services for your child; working on relevant and meaningful goals. Therapy can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the needs of your child.
